Website Maintenance and Development
We update, maintain, and develop websites—both our own and those of others. We take on projects created by other contractors, including those for which we have nothing left but hosting credentials.
What's Included in Support
- Update — CMS, plugins, PHP. A website that hasn’t been updated in a year becomes vulnerable: most breaches aren’t caused by hackers, but by outdated versions of well-known modules.
- Backups — Regular backups, with verification that they can actually be used to restore data.
- Safety — Fixing known vulnerabilities, protecting forms from spam, and removing secrets from public files.
- Content — pages, articles, products, banners. Or we can train your team so you won't have to rely on us.
- Further Work — new blocks and sections in the style of the existing website.
- Speed — compressing graphics, caching, and removing unnecessary scripts.
Pre-launch audit
Before we take on a website for maintenance, we assess its current condition. As a result, you’ll receive a list of issues with an explanation of which ones are critical and which can wait:
- versions of the CMS, plugins, and PHP; known vulnerabilities;
- Speed and Core Web Vitals separately for mobile;
- Technical SEO: duplicate titles, meta tags, sitemap, indexing;
- Do submissions from the forms actually go through? In practice, some websites send emails to the spam folder for months, and the owner assumes there’s no demand;
- Backups: Do they exist, and can they be restored?
An audit is useful in and of itself, even if you plan to handle everything on your own afterward.
Urgent Work
The site won't open—it's down. After the update, everything went haywire, and the emails with requests are gone—please contact us, and we'll handle it right away. In cases like this, it's best to grant access to the hosting and the admin panel right away.
Formats
- One-time tasks — a specific task, an assessment before the start.
- Monthly Support — updates, backups, monitoring, and an agreed-upon number of hours for additional work.
- Development — Work plan for the quarter: new sections, work on page speed and search traffic.
What We Need From You
Access to the hosting account and control panel. If you don't have access, we'll help you restore it: in most cases, this can be resolved through your domain registrar or hosting provider.

Who needs this?
- The contractor has disappeared — The website is up and running, but there's no one to make changes to it.
- We don't have our own technical specialist — No one has been doing updates or backups for years.
- The website is critical to sales — a store or service where downtime results in direct losses.
- Development is needed, not just maintenance: new sections, improvements to speed, and search traffic.
What will happen if there is no support?
A website doesn’t break down the day you stop maintaining it—it breaks down a year later, and usually all at once: a crash caused by an outdated plugin, a backup that won’t restore, a form that has silently stopped submitting requests, or an expired certificate. We’ve covered the risks and steps to take in detail in this article which is part of the website's support, and the safety requirements are outlined in the article How to Protect a Website from Hacking.
How We Work
1. Audit — 2–5 days
We review the status of the website and provide a list of issues, explaining which ones are critical and which ones can wait.
2. Stabilization
We're addressing critical issues: updates, backups, access, and errors that affect requests.
3. Regular work
Updates with testing, availability monitoring, backups, an agreed-upon number of hours for revisions—and a report on what was accomplished during the month.
Response time
- Accident (the website is unavailable, has been hacked, or is not accepting requests) — we'll handle it on a priority basis during business hours.
- A typical problem — usually within one or two business days.
- Scheduled Work — According to the agreed-upon schedule, we perform updates after creating a backup.
What We Work With
WordPress and WooCommerce are our main areas of expertise, particularly websites built using third-party themes and page builders. We also support static websites and custom-coded projects, provided we have access to the source code. If a website was built using a proprietary page builder, its capabilities are limited by the platform itself—we’ll be upfront about this during the audit phase.
