Website for a fitness club and sports studio
People search for fitness clubs, yoga studios, or gyms by neighborhood, type of class, and schedule: “gym near home,” “Pilates in Podil,” “trial class.” A website in this niche serves one main purpose—to display the schedule and allow people to sign up right away, while they’re still in the mood to get started.
We робимо сайти для фітнес-клубів, спортивних і танцювальних студій, йога-просторів і приватних тренерів: розклад занять, картки тренерів, абонементи й запис на пробне — без дзвінків і листування в директ.
What's Missing from the Club's Instagram Account
Social media does a good job of conveying the atmosphere, but it doesn’t answer the three questions that people need to know before making a decision: when exactly the classes are held, how much a membership costs, and how to sign up. The schedule in Stories disappears after a day, prices are listed in a pinned post from three months ago, and the administrator answers the question “When do you have yoga classes?”—if they have time.
The website handles these questions before a user submits a request. A user views the class schedule, selects a class and time, signs up for a trial class, and receives a confirmation. The administrator steps in only after a request has been submitted, not to go over the schedule for the umpteenth time.
Another point to consider: a social media profile doesn't belong to you. Your account could be blocked or hacked, and your entire follower base would be lost along with it. A website with its own domain and customer base, on the other hand, remains your asset.
What pages does the club need?
- Home — courses, upcoming classes, introductory prices, and a button to sign up for a trial class.
- A page for each category — Yoga on its own, the gym on its own, and group classes on their own. This isn’t just for show: these are the exact types of pages that match real search queries and attract people who are looking for a specific class, not just “fitness.”
- Schedule — a weekly schedule listing the class, instructor, duration, and gym.
- Coaches — photos, areas of expertise, experience, and links to their classes in the schedule. In this niche, people often come “to a trainer” rather than “to a gym.”
- Subscriptions and Prices — A clear comparison of options: one-time, monthly, unlimited, and class packages.
- Club — Halls, equipment, locker rooms, photos of the facility. It shows the things people are too shy to ask about.
- Contacts — address, map, landmarks, parking, hours of operation.
For a studio specializing in a single field, half of that is unnecessary—one well-made piece is often enough landing page. We'll figure out what works best for you during the briefing; the general logic behind the choice is explained in the article Landing page or corporate website.
Schedule and Registration: The Reason Behind It All
The schedule is the heart of a fitness club’s website, and it should be updated by the administrator in a minute, without needing a developer. We create a grid where classes are edited like a regular list: category, instructor, time, studio, and number of spots. Canceling a class or replacing an instructor takes just two clicks.
There are two options. If you already have an accounting system in place—Altegio, EasyWeek, Mobifitness, or something similar—we’ll integrate its booking widget into the website’s design so it doesn’t look like a foreign element, and the administrator can continue managing the schedule in their usual program. If you don’t have a system, we’ll build a custom module: selection of class type, date, and time; capacity limits; and registration via Telegram and email. Later, this can be replaced with CRM integration without having to redesign the website.
We set aside separately Sign up for a trial class. This is the club's main conversion action, and it should be accessible from any page with a single click, rather than hidden in a feedback form.
Subscriptions and Payment
Selling memberships through a website doesn’t make sense for everyone: some clubs deliberately keep payment at the front desk so they can speak with customers in person. If online payment is required, we’ll set up card processing and ensure that after payment, the customer immediately receives a confirmation, and you get a record in the system.
Here’s what we recommend including in the structure right away, even if you’re launching without charging a fee: a comparison of pricing plans in a single table, transparent terms for suspending and refunding subscriptions, and the subscription term. Most disputes with customers arise precisely because of these points, and a page where they’re clearly stated saves the administrator hours of work.
Speed and Mobile
People check the schedule on their phones, often while on the go and with poor reception. That’s why we’re building a website in this niche with mobile screens in mind: the class schedule is readable without horizontal scrolling, the sign-up button stays visible, and large photos of the studios are compressed so the page loads in seconds. Why this also affects search rankings—in the article about website speed.

- Roman Massage — a massage salon with online booking and a user interface available in three languages.
- Reflection — Beauty salon in Kyiv: services and prices, stylists, appointments.
- NOTE — Beauty Space: a platform for service categories and online booking.

How much does a website for a fitness club cost?
We do not publish a general price list—it never matches the actual project. The cost depends on the number of program areas and pages, how the schedule is organized, whether online payment is available, and the readiness of the content. The difference between a studio with one program area and a club with three studios and membership plans is significant.
To get a quote tailored specifically to your club, please fill out cost calculation: a few questions about the project, after which we'll get back to you with a breakdown of costs by phase and timeline. How website pricing works in general and what you're paying for—see the section Prices and Budget.
How long does it take?
A studio with a single program—usually 2–3 weeks. A club with multiple classes, a schedule, and trainer profiles—4–6 weeks. If online membership payments or integration with an accounting system are added, allow an additional 1–2 weeks for setup and testing.
The most common cause of delays isn’t the development itself, but the content: photos of the studios and trainers, descriptions of class types, and the current schedule. That’s why we ask you to start gathering this content at the same time as the design work. For more details on realistic timelines for each phase, see the article How long does it take to develop a website?.
